Here at Long Island Customs, we specialize in one-of-a-kind vehicles. We install and customize audio, video, navigation, alarm and remote start systems. We can make your doors open remotely, we can have your trunk open backwards, by remote. We can open your tailgate and tonneau cover with the push of one button and close it again with a push of the same button. We can turn the bed of your pickup into a tailgate party waiting to happen..... Below are just a few ideas from a 2005 Dodge Ram Hemi Sport. There will be much more to follow.... We are currently working on a 6 wheel Chevy Van that will be a rolling entertainment center, a 2004 GMC Pickup with a complete custom stereo, navigation unit etc, and an S-10 Pickup with a 4000 watt subwoofer system. |

This is a PS-2 installed between the seats in a center console. The orange part, painted with House of Kolor Tangelo Pearl to match the outside of the truck (which can be seen HERE) is made to fit the unit precisely and it also fits inside the well of the center console. Switches were added for the under dash strobes, the under body neon lights and a few other things.... |

The capacitor for the subwoofers in the bed was mounted under the driver seat. It was painted to match the fire on the hood scoop. Note the seat controls are also painted to match the outside of the truck. |

This is the dash. It includes a flip-up DVD player, a performance computer and an "A" pillar gauge mount, custom made for this vehicle. You can also see some of the custom work added to this vehicle. Vents painted to match the outside, switches for the strobes and other Fire Dept lights, etc. The strobes can be seen in the last picture (it was fun trying to time it to get the lights in the picture....). |

The door panels have custom aftermarket chrome/brushed inserts as well as parts painted to match the outside of the truck... |

Note, this vehicle is driven daily, which is why some of the pictures show smudges on the door panels.... |

The bed houses 2 12" subwoofers and 4 6"X9" speakers as well as a 26" HDTV. The TV is connected to the in-dash DVD Player, as are all of the speakers. Watching movies, music videos or even the game on Sunday has a whole new meaning. Just add a BBQ, some chairs and some friends, and here's the tailgate party of all time.... The panels are all custom made from MDF, fiberglass and vinyl. You can see the fireman mural on the tailgate, which is why it was made to open this way.
